The institution has just acquired an oil on canvas by Oudry, entitled Cadet and Ermine, which was sold privately. It belongs to a series commissioned by Louis XV in 1725. Created for the Château of Compiègne, it was initially composed of 11 paintings. Today, 6 are in Fontainebleau and 1 in the Chateau of Compiègne.
