Preston H. Haskell III gifted his Alma Mater 8 major artworks by artists like Willem de Kooning and Joan Mitchell and a monumental painting by Gerhard Richter – all of which be hung in the new David Adjaye-designed building slated to open in 2024. Haskell also donated a “leadership gift” to help fund the museum.
