The appointment was expected: Christoph Wiesner, artistic director of Paris Photo, was nominated by the board of directors of the Rencontres d'Arles. He will take over from Sam Stourdzé, who left for the Villa Medicis, as director of the event. He will inaugurate the Hexagon exhibition on Monday, June 29th.
