Judith with the Head of Holofernes is joining the National Museum of Oslo thanks to the DNB Savings Bank Foundation, a philanthropic organization that acquires works on behalf of museums. The signed canvas - a rare occurrence - was painted between 1639 and 1640, probably during the artist's stay in London.
