A russet iron 46-plate suji bachi (ridged bowl) with copper three-part copper tehen-no-kanamono (decorative mount for the top). The side mounts lacquered in black with mon-crests on each side, the inside of the front piece lacquered in red.
With a Japanese certificate Nihon Katchû Bugu Kenkyû Hozon Kai (NKBKHK), dated Heisei 28 (2016), with dating to the early Edo period.
Dimensions: Height approximately 17 CM
Condition: Good condition with a very good patina; the lacquer worn and flaking
