[Nuremberg David Funke or Johann Baptist Homann 1690-1720] Copper engraving, coloured, 48 x 56,5 cm (central folding). Framed (publisher's name in the bottom margin under passe-partout). Double hemisphere celestial map based on the work of Hevelius. Banner with map key representing the size of the stars. Surrounded by six circular diagrams; three representing the planetary systems by Tycho Brache, Ptolemaeus and Copernicus as well as a diagram of how the moon affects the tides, a diagram of lunar phases and a representation of the earth's orbit around the sun by Philippe van Lansberge.
