Important casque sujikabuto à 42 plaques avec un grand fukikaeshi, une décoration frontale maedate figurant un soleil doré et des cornes kawagata de petite taille. Avec un couvre-nuque (shikoro) à deux éléments. Le fukikaeshi et la visière sont décorés de cuir fumé. La partie extérieure du shikoro et le fukikaeshi arborent un emblème familial rond et doré figurant des feuilles d’abricotier dans un cercle (maru ni gy?y? mon). Le casque porte une signature à l’intérieur : Munehisa (My?chin Yoshimichi, XVIème siècle). Ce nom est également inscrit en encre sur le kuwagata. Fin période Muromachi.

An important fourty-two-plate sujikabuto helmet with large fukikaeshi, a gilded sun-maedate and rather small kuwagata-antlers. Two broad neck-guards (shikoro). Fukikaeshi and shade are decorated with smoked leather. The fukikaeshi and the outer shikoro have a gilded round family crest of apricot leaves inside a circle (maru ni gy?y? mon). The helmet is signed at the inside: Munehisa (My?chin Yoshimichi, sixteenth century). This name is also written in ink at the kuwagata. Late Muromachi Period.
