Provenance: acquired before 1975.
The story of Mem Brajut is a very popular Balinese folktale. She is blessed with children, but poor in earthly goods. Her husband, Pan Brayut, helps her in all the housework while she takes care of the children and weaves them. When the children grow up they can also work and things get better.
