The pear-shaped jug is modelled with an s-shaped handle, the lower body is moulded with petals enclosing alternating ladies and flowers, the neck is decorated with a large lotus spray below a squared scroll band. The slightly domed cover is decorated with a central peony spray surrounded by a further square scroll band. The silver mounts are decorated with floral designs.
Condition: Unable to examine the areas below the silver mounts.
There is a crack to the lower join of the handle.
There are shallow chips to the foot.
The tip of the spout has been ground down.
There are various minor frits consistent with age.
