FRANÇOIS-XAVIER LALANNE
François-Xavier Lalanne draws the essence of his art from nature itself.
His poetic work plunges us into a surrealist fauna, where he works the material, experimenting to transform it into an unusual bestiary. The figure of Ganesh is represented here, elephant head to “think differently”always accompanied by a mouse that symbolizes desire under control.
The elephant often treated by the sculptor is common to his bestiary.
Ganesh is the image of his imagination, a vision of idyllic nature, welcoming and pacified.
