certainement peint durant la campagne d’Asie
centrale (1867-1870) du général Kaufmann qui
fut durant gouverneur du Turkestan
Exposition :
L’oeuvre est très certainement celle mentionnée
au catalogue de l’exposition de Londres du
Cristal Palace de 1873 : Painting & Sketches of
Central Asia, Sydenham, 1873, N°55.
