[Samson and Delilah], c. 1540-1560. Woodcut after Titian, 31 x 50 cm (trimmed to the borderline); not signed. Stuck by upper corners under passe-partout. Formerly underlaid, some visible tears and split., dampstain in upper left part, etc. Still an impressive plate. Rare woodcut by N. Boldrini (c. 1500–c. 1566), Italian engraver of the Renaissance. His prints are chiefly after Titian.
