Ensemble de boites superposées (jubako) laqué noir comprenant cinq plateaux, deux couvercle ainsi qu'un socle. Le tout est décoré des «quatre amis» (orchidée, bambou, chrysanthème et fleur de prunier). Un emblème en laque dorée maki-e (une fleur de melon à l'intérieur d'un losange) figure sur l'un des couvercles. Avec deux boites de rangement d'origine. Période fin Edo - Meiji. H.: 57 cm (socle inclus), 22,6 x 24,1 cm Black lacquered jubako-set with five trays, two lids and one stand decorated with the "four friends" (orchid, bamboo, chrysanthemum and plum blossom) continuing over the trays; one of the lids is decorated with a crest (a melon flower inside a rhombus) in raised gold maki-e lacquer. With two original storeboxes. Late Edo - Meiji Period.
