Rare et important vase de forme balustre en barbotine sur terre cuite émaillée à décor d'un faune portant des amours dans un paysage forestier, d'un masque de Bacchus et de vigne en relief. Décor probablement dû au peintre Edouard Dammouse. Signature peinte en noir sous email «E» dans un rosaire. Vers 1871-1881. H: 59 cm A rare and important enlarged vase decorated in barbotine on enamelled terracotta with a faun in a forest landscape, a mask of Bacchus and raised branches of vine, most probably the work of Edouard Dammouse. The signature «E» in a rosary is painted in black under the enamel. Circa 1871-1881.
