Beautiful, classic reliquary guardian with a wooden core covered with brass leaves worked in repoussé. The lateral wings open out widely, the upside-down crescent-shaped headdress is finely decorated, and the delicate, smiling face is criss-crossed with vertical and horizontal striations. The effigy once topped a basket containing the relics of the clan's important ancestors.
