Architecturally structured pendulum, panelled in rosewood and supported by flattened walnut bulb feet. In the entablature are openwork friezes on a silk background; vase-shaped pinnacles with small fleur-de-lis on the architrave, at the ridge, a handle grip; silvered metal exhibition dial with large Roman numerals for hours, small Arabic numerals for minutes, resting on large gilt brass mirror plate, polished brass hands, alarm clock hand at center arrowhead, burnished steel. Movement with rod escapement, short pendulum, hour chime in 12 o'clock, on bell. H. 55 cm, W. 40 cm, D. 18 cm.
