A mercury-gilt and finely chiseled bronze support pendulum clock, supported by a pedestal base centered by an asymmetrical hide. The case, elegantly shaped 'à violon,' is composed of swirls and racemes that culminate with a floral apparatus. White enamel dial with blue Roman numerals for the hours, finely openworked mercury-gilt brass hands, pendulum movement with silk-wire suspension, hour and half-hour chime on bell with part-wheel system. H. 30 cm, W. 18 cm, D. 12 cm.
