The subject created by Carle Vernet under the title Cheval arabe équipé, in Chevaux arabes - Carle VERNET (1758-1838) was executed as an original lithograph on vellum, signed in the plate. Published by Delpech François, Séraphin (1788-1825), Paris, ca. 1820, several later prints were also executed on different papers.
Horace Vernet (1789- 1863), son of Carle Vernet (1758 - 1836), often collaborated with his father.
