Screen; China, 20th century. Lacquered wood and hard stones. Measurements: 152 x 180 x 2 cm. Screen surely of export composed of six leaves in lacquered wood and hard stones. The set presents scenes of the Chinese imperial court elaborated with gilded oil paint and completed by figures made with hard stones. The scene depicted shows several ladies chatting, strolling and resting in a palace garden.
