In-8, 150 ff. (numbered 1 to 125), leaves, in half-garnet morocco folder and slipcase (Aussourd).
Very legible manuscript of this novel published in 1898 by Eugène Fasquelle. The majority of the leaves are made up of cut-out pieces of paper, numbered in blue or gray pencil, then joined together with adhesive tape. Irregular numbering.
Louis de Robert (1871-1937) met Marcel Proust in 1897 and became one of his closest friends. He corrected the proofs of Du côté de chez Swann, and Proust retained over 140 of his friend's corrections!
