- a letter dated January 21 (19)75 in which Estève reassures Beccaria about the authenticity of a work by Fernand Léger that the glacier wishes to buy from a collector. He urges him to show it to Maurice Jardot at the Galerie Leiris on a forthcoming trip to Paris, and advises him on the selling price.
- a letter dated February 15 (19)77 in which Estève talks about his latest exhibition and a forthcoming drawing for David Beccaria: "I haven't forgotten you either, since I have finally worked on your book - your drawing will soon be finished".
- a letter dated January 16 (19)79 in which the artist thanks David Beccaria for sending him sweets: "Les Dames me préfèrent svelte, mince et agile... They enjoy my baldness, but not my stoutness".
- an addressed postcard from Culan (Centre Val-de-Loire) dated October 28 (19)75.
- two greeting cards, one dated 24.XII.76 and the other sent on the occasion of Estève's vernissage at Galerie Claude Bernard on May 4, 1977.

David Beccaria ran an ice-cream business at 2 Cours Saleya, frequented by artists, particularly those of the Ecole de Nice. An enthusiastic and highly regarded artist, he built up an important collection of works by his contemporaries.
