RELIGION. Large Saint George in wood carved in the round, with black patina and gilding. On his prancing horse, Saint George pierces the mouth of the sucker, with the Virgin of Trebizond kneeling on a rock behind the scene; base with stripe of ovals and stings, claw feet. Spain, 17th century (later spear, minor accidents). 47 x 54 x 19 cm. Expert: Benoit Bertrand.
