Collar chandelier with chinoiserie Faience, blue decoration. Cylindrical spout with vertical slit, below a nodus and a wide overhanging eaves bowl. A chinoiserie around the bell-shaped foot. Hollow glazed base without mark. Older restored chips to spout, collar and foot, glaze rub and rim chips. H 19.5 cm. Delft or Frankfurt, late 17th century. The model for the form can be found in Baroque bronze candlesticks. Provenance Hessian private collection.
