Pair of pots from the pharmacy of the Landgrave of Hesse-Kassel
Faience, blue wash decoration. Cylindrical. Large vacant rocaille cartouche, crowned by a princely hat. One glazed base with blue mark ligated "HL F.I.", one unglazed base with manganese mark "H F II". Yellowed and fragile restoration to one lip rim, chips. H approx. 22.5 cm.
Kassel, 18th century.
