Silver, gilt. The cast base with finely chased lion head masks between flower tendrils; the figurative shaft with two cupid half-figures holding the vase-shaped spout. Inlaid eave bowl with leafy shade. Marks: BZ London for 1750, MT Thomas Gladwin (from 1737, Grimwade no. 2759). H 25 cm, weight 1,703 g.
