Liège hunting tabatière
Silver, gilded inside. The slightly conical body in cartouche form on a fine base ring. The hinged lid engraved with rocailles and a depiction of a hound hunting a stag. The wall decorated accordingly, the applied depiction of the resting dog on the front. Engraved monogram "P.F.G." on the underside. Marks: Slightly worn BZ Liège for 1772 - 1784, year letter E for 1776, MZ André-Remacle Forêt (mentioned 1766 - 1783, Stuyck no. 3994, 4124). H 3.7; W 8.2; D 5.8 cm, weight 91 g.
