Augsburg lidded tankard
Silver, with remnants of gilding. Arched foot bulge and slightly conical body with cast volute handle. The wall with embossed scrollwork on a chased ground. The domed hinged lid with corresponding decoration, split thumb rest and baluster knob. Marks: BZ Augsburg for 1711 - 1715, MZ Johann Fassnacht (c. 1686 - 1726, Seling no. 1390, 1820), tremolier engraving. H 13.5 cm, weight 446 g.
