Szczecin coin lid cup
Silver, partially gilded. A conical cup with a profiled lip rim on a sturdy base ring. The wall with flat embossed Régence decoration between 24 Saxon, Polish, Swedish and Brunswick-Lüneburg coins of the 17th century in four staggered rows. The base with a Saxon thaler commemorating the 100th anniversary of the Augsburg Confession. The domed lid with corresponding decoration and seven 1/3 St. Andrew thalers from around 1700; in the center a Brunswick-Lüneburg imperial thaler from 1697. Marks: BZ Stettin, MZ Zacharias Kramer (1708 - c. 1741, Scheffler Mitteldeutschland no. 837, 879), tremolier engraving, Prussian tax stamp of 1809. H 14 cm, weight 393 g.
