Nuremberg Lidded Cup
Silver, gilt. Eleven-humped foot with chased fish bubbles. The slender conical bowl with corresponding decoration and smooth, slightly flared lip rim above a vase-shaped nodus. The domed lid crowned with a large Schmeck. Marks: BZ Nuremberg for 1609 - 1629, MZ Stephan Gressel (1602 - 1634, GNM no. BZ13, 294), tremolier engraving. H 29.5 cm, weight 245 g.
