Classicist cameo necklace 18 kt yellow gold, gold-plated clasp catch. Made of eleven flat shell cameos (approx. 16.60 x 11.43 x - approx. 24.90 x 18.16 mm), finely carved with mythological scenes and love symbolism, in florally chased bezel settings, connected by triple, ribbed pea chains. Decorative box clasp in the shape of an acanthus palmette. Not stamped. L 43 cm. Weight 41.0 g. Comes with a case with a red leather train by Kunsthandel Faehte. Around 1800.
