LACLOCHE (Jacques). Circa 1955.
Necklace known as a plastron in 950 ‰ platinum, composed of articulated geometric motifs with integrated jewel-like swags, adorned with rows of natural oval Burmese rubies falling on claw bezels, surmounted and linked by passementerie motifs set with rivière baguette-cut diamonds. Delicate clasp set with two shield-cut diamonds. Some rubies are slightly damaged.
Master's hallmark crushed by the warranty, the hallmark reads Rubel Frères, a capital L on the safety catch and in its shaped case.
Total weight of rubies: approx. 50 cts, all natural, unheated from Myan Mar (prob. Mogok).
Total weight of baguette diamonds: approx. 15 cts.
Gross weight: 88 g.
