Title illustrated with a vignette depicting the province of Holland in the form of a young woman holding a coat of arms with a lion, the heraldic symbol of the Counts of Holland. Complete work, with 34 full-length portraits (numbered 35) of Dutch princes and princesses, engraved by Philippe
Galle. These were used in Michel Vosmeer's "Principes Hollandiae et Zelendiae domini Frisiae, Anvers Plantin. 1578", which included 36 portraits.
