Large, long, hollow, asymmetrical dish with two-lobed ends.
Enameled ceramic proof with polychrome title decoration in three reserves on a black background.
Black enamelled reverse.
Signed JOUVE, and with the monogram A. P. (with interlaced letters) for Apollon, a mark known as the Alpha, under the enamel on the reverse.

Small firing bubbles in the polychrome parts.

Madame X., Les Yvelines. Received as a gift from Claude Vassal (designer, founder of Magasins Pilotes and close friend of the current owner) at the time of his engagement.
