Case: Steel, polished, screw back, movement protection cap.

According to the extract from the chronometer archives by Andreas Hidding, this chronometer took part in the chronometer test at the Neuchâtel observatory (timed by Roger Ruffion) in 1970, where it finished in 26th place (42 participants) in the category "Chronomètres de poche - balancier/spiral". The ebauche is part of a lot of 402 pieces of calibre 24? CCR, which were numbered and inventoried in April 1956. The chronometer was delivered for testing to the OB Neuchâtel for testing on October 6, 1971 and billed to the Federal Office for Military Engineering in Koblenz.
