Oklad and nimbus mounted in silver plate and engraved vermeil.
On the back of the icon, two ink stamps "Стефанъ З. Щаклевъ / Иерусалимъ" (Stéphane Z. Chtchaklev / Jerusalem) and "Благословение отъ живоноснаго гроба и отъ горы Голгофы в Иерусалиме" (Blessing of the Life-bearing Tomb and Mount Golgotha in Jerusalem) with a dedication in Bulgarian: "I offered this icon as a souvenir to my wife Ekaterina Maximova in the city of Sofia. Comes from the city of Jerusalem. 23. IV. 1910", dedication signed ST. Z. Shchaklev.
Hallmarks: 84, Moscow 1899-1908 and silversmith "М.К" (unidentified). 22.5 x 17.8 cm; gross weight: 399 g

The Chtchaklev family of Jerusalem is mentioned in a letter from the Bulgarian Patriarch Kyril dated April 1, 1962, in which he states that Chtchaklev has already been dead for 8 years. [Patriarch Kyril's collection in the Bulgarian State Archives].
