Guenrikh Veniaminovitch Sapguir (1928-1999). Poet, writer, scriptwriter. From 1944, he was a participant in Yevgeny Kropivnitsky's (Oscar Rabin's father-in-law) literary and artistic workshop in Moscow, and from the late 1950s, in the close circle of poets and artists formed around Kropivnitsky and his pupil Oscar Rabin, known as the "Lianozov School". Sapguir came to Paris for the first time in November 1987. In 1988, William Brui photographed him in Normandy.
