Élise THIERS, wife of the President of the French Republic. Eulalie Élise Dosne (1818-1880) was the daughter of Alexis Dosne, stockbroker, Receiver General of Finances for Finistère and Regent of the Bank of France, and Eurydice Matheron (1794-1869). She had a sister Félicie (1823-1906). In 1833, she married Marie Louis Joseph Adolphe Thiers, future President of the Republic. Adolphe Thiers maintained a relationship with Eurydice Dosne and then with Félicie while married to Elise - 3 Lettres A.S. by Madame Élise THIERS, and lot of 9 Lettres from her sister Félicie DOSNE and their mother Eurydice (calling herself Sophie) between 1844 and 1880 + 2 Lettres autographes, addressed to Mme DOSNE.
