Jean (or Jean Baptiste) de SELVE, Seigneur de CROMIÈRES (in CUSSAC, Haute-Vienne) and de VILLIERS-LE-CHÂTEL (Commune de CERNY, Essonne). He owned Château de Villiers-Le Châtel and the Péage de La Ferté-Alais. He married Jacqueline BOUCHAUT in 1606. He is a Gentilhomme ordinaire de la Chambre du Roi, Capitaine d'Infanterie au Régiment de Picardie - signed "Jehan de Selve Cromières." in his name and titles, "both in his own name and as having the natural custody of his children and of the late Damoiselle Jacqueline BOUCHAUT, formerly his wife". He received the sum of 66 livres tournois in annuity on July 2, 1624. Parchment (11.5 x 25 cm).
