Hans HAMMARSKJOLD (1948-2008), Swedish photographer. Niki de Saint Phalle, Hon/Elle, June 1966 at the Moderna Museet, Stockholm. Ektachrome, 6 x 6 cm. Photographer's label. "Hon/Elle is a monumental sculpture created from a model by Niki de Saint Phalle in 1966, in collaboration with Jean Tinguely and Finnish artist Per Olof Ultvedtnote. A gigantic Nana lying on her back, legs spread, knees raised, offering her vagina as an entrance to the public, she has a tiny head, large breasts and the round belly of a pregnant woman. Inside the sculpture, which can be visited like a house, are various "rooms", as well as mechanisms by Jean Tinguely and assemblages by Per Olof Ultvedt. The sculpture measures 23 x 13 x 14 m (23 metres in length). It weighs 6 tonnes. Wikipedia
