Oil on canvas signed lower right, repainted, 27.5 x 41 cm + frame 36 x 50 cm, good condition,
French artist. Painter and lithographer, originally from Caen. He worked with Prévot and Bergeret. He appeared at the Paris Salon from 1812 to 1838. He specialized in autumn and winter landscapes and snow effects, which made him a great success.
Exhibited in a dozen Fine Arts museums in France.
