Bevilacqua lives and works in New York. He studied at Long Beach State University, Santa Barbara City College, and Cambridge College of Art and Technology in the United Kingdom. Bevilacqua's style is influenced by pop and color field paintings. He is known for combining high and low cultures through elements of painting, drawing, graphic design, animation and collage while working with a saturated palette, covering his lustrous canvases with logos and doodles. His mixed media serves as a platform to expose his cultural preferences such as his favorite bands, clothing brands and racing cars. He has had many international exhibitions, including solo exhibitions in Beijing, Copenhagen, Milan, Tokyo, Madrid, Paris, Barcelona and New York; and group exhibitions at the Palais de Tokyo, Paris; Deste Foundation, Athens; the Phoenix Art Museum, Phoenix; and The Aldrich Museum of Contemporary Art, Ridgefield. His work is part of many collections including the Mitsuni Collection, Tokyo; San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, San Francisco; Deste Foundation, Athens; Astrup Fearnley Museum, Oslo; The Whitney Museum of American Art, New York; and the Dallas Museum of Art, Dallas.
