Art Deco ceiling lamp by Maxonade Verrier D'Art, Paris, with decoration of stylized geoemtrical motifs. The drawing is hand-painted and made with enamel paint in a very elaborate technique.
Maxonade was a modernist Art Deco lighting and furniture company specializing in enameled and tube-coated glass soffits, similar to those of Loys Lucha. Maxonade Verrier d'Art "Specialiste du Luminaire Moderne" was located at 54 bis Rue Labrouste, Paris 15eme, workshop and showroom. By 1935, the premises were located at 20 bis Rue La Boetie, and also at 75 Boulevard du Montparnasse.
