- Jean Pierre Marie JAZET (1788-1871)
Winter. 1817. Engraved with aquatint after Martinet. [530 x 410 mm]. I.F.F. 47-1. Fine proof on white vellum, trimmed at the foot of the plate but complete with shelf. Scattered light foxing. Tiny tears at the edges of the folio. Long trace of oblique fold at head. Good margins on three sides.
A set of twelve (12) prints including:
- After ISABEY and PERCIER, a member of the legislative body
- After JULLIEN, a Rataplan horse, signed in the plate lower right
- Battle scene in the Orient
- Maxime JUAN (1900-?), Dôme des Invalides, drypoint
- Louis Pierre BALTARD (1764-1846), Paris et ses monuments: Façade du Louvre sur la rivière et Vue du Louvre côté du Nord, one plate comprising two prints
