ALMANACH ROYAL, année MDCCXXXIX [Paris, la veuve d'Houry, 1739]. In-8, 425-(one blank) pp. garnet morocco, ribbed spine cloisonné and fleurdelisé, gilt lace framing on covers with gilt coat of arms in center, decorated edges, endpapers of fine gilt paper, gilt edges; two worn corners, one with leather missing, lower half of title leaf cut out (period binding). MAROQUIN WITH THE ARMS OF THE COMTE DE CHAROLAIS OR THE COMTE DE CLERMONT (OHR, pl. 2634). Grandsons of Louis XIV through their mother Louise-Françoise de Bourbon, Charles and Louis de Bourbon were sons of the Prince de Condé.
