Heavy oak carrying case, with two folding handles on the sides and a fixed handle on the lid, reinforced and larded with wrought-iron plates and cut-out fittings.
On the lid, a round plate decorated with the King Louis XV cipher and three fleurs-de-lis. Inside, one of the reinforcing fittings is engraved with a cross and the annotation "François Leprin (?) Serrurier du Roy", dated "1739".
