Biography :
Jean Hüe, sieur de la Fosse
Born in 1520 (rectified in 1530), he declared himself an ardent supporter of Henri IV and, as he was "old and caducous", could not actively serve him, he equipped a company of men-at-arms at his own expense "with arms, horses and equipment", which joined the royal army, led by his sons "most suited to the profession of arms".
In 1784, Comte de Waroquier de Méricourt de La Mothe de Combles produced a historical table of the nobility.
