TEA SERVICE with table fountain in silver and gilt metal (3 pieces). Vienna (Austria), Mayerhofer, 19th century. Consisting of a table fountain or "samovar" with its stand and wooden-handled stove, a teapot, a milk jug with curved wooden handle and an uncovered sugar pot with two scrolled handles. Wide, panelled model, richly decorated with foliage, friezes and bands of roses and various flowers, base with large gadroons. A tea strainer of a slightly different design (unmarked) is included. Repair weld at the base of the milk jug's metal handle.
