In-quarto autograph letter signed and stamped envelope addressed to Christian Melchior-Bonnet (1902-1995), founder of Historia magazine in 1946, editor of the "Petit journal" in Clermont-Ferrand.
Beautiful letter from Montherlant, during the Second World War, evoking the writing of articles and his links with publishing houses. Written on March 8, 1941 at the Hotel Muraour in Grasse.
"I will gladly give you an article from time to time; but I am immersed at present in two works that cannot bear to be butchered into articles (...). When I don't know which is the one planned by the little newspaper. Tell me occasionally what you'll be offering."
