Lot consisting of 19 theatrical sketches (and 2 for costume accessories) created by Edel for the representation of the musical drama in three acts "Tristan and Isolde" by Richard Wagner. On the back, handwritten notes for tailoring, knitwear, shoemaking, hairdressing and jewellers. Edel had a brilliant artistic career full of recognition both as a painter and illustrator and above all as a theater costume designer at La Scala in Milan from 1880 to 1890, he collaborated with the major theaters in Europe, considered among the innovators of Italian theater at the end of the century. Slight creases and small tears at the edges.
