Two fine 1/1000th scale miniature models of polychrome wooden ships of the Swedish-American lines "Stockholm" and "Kungsholm" on painted wooden base and glass display case.
Circa 1950
Size of display case: H. 10 cm W. 27 cm D. 7 cm
On July 25, 1956, the MS Stockholm collided with the Italian transatlantic liner "Andrea Doria" off Nantucket USA. The Andrea Doria sank. Most of the passengers and crew were rescued by the SS "Ile de France" (CGT).
